As president of the Delaware African
Students Association (DASA), he led and organized various
events including a forum with panelists on "the Media
and Africa", and a successful fundraising for HIV/AIDS
orphans at Nyumbani Children in Kenya.
In 2004, he organized the first ever country-based team
for the Delaware AIDS Walk as part of a Toastmasters International’s
High Performance Leadership project, where he served as
a Division Governor. He is using his community organizing
skills from Public Allies and communication and leadership
skills from Toastmasters International to educate, empower
and uplift the lives of the needy, in addition to making
