The Delaware Kenya Association
(DEKA) is a growing non-profit organization for Kenyan immigrants
and
friends of Kenya which was launched in 2001 to champion
the issues of Kenyans both in the United States and in
Kenya.
The organization's headquarters are in Newark, Delaware,
U.S.A. Since its inception, the organization has assisted
many Kenyan immigrants living in Delaware with different
issues and taken on some issues in Kenya through the spirit
of "harambee" (pulling together). Here
is what we've done to date.
